How our data works.

Where the facts behind a Thommidhi creator listing come from, what each label means, what we never guess (age, gender, caste, religion, health, politics or location), who sees a listing, and how creators correct or remove theirs.

Where it comes from

Creators in Discover who haven't joined Thommidhi were researched by a person here from public pages: the creator's own website, news articles and interviews, Wikipedia and Wikidata. Each fact links to the page it came from and shows when we read it.

We don't use scraped data or exports from other tools. Public channel numbers, like subscribers and recent videos, will come only through YouTube's official API, and we refresh or delete those within 30 days.

What we leave out

We never show a listed creator's contact details. We never guess anyone's age, gender, caste, religion, health or politics, for a creator or their audience, and we never guess where they live. A gap we don't know stays a gap: we'd rather leave it empty than fill it with a guess.

Who sees a listing

Only brands we've approved, signed in with their work email. A listing isn't on our public pages unless the creator who claimed it, or who made a Thommidhi page, chooses to make that page findable in search: then their name, what they chose to share and the sourced facts are public and may be indexed by search engines and AI assistants, and switching it off removes it from our pages at once and from search engines when they next crawl. A listing doesn't mean we represent a creator or that they're available: when a brand presses "Ask Thommidhi", a person here decides whether to reach out through the business contact the creator published.

Who a brand sees first

We read the words a brand wrote on its own page into topics, languages and who it wants on camera, and the brand can correct that reading. Creators whose listing matches come first, each with a line saying which part matched; everyone else is still shown. Who appears in a creator's videos counts only if the creator said it themselves.

If you're a creator

Paste your channel link at thommidhi.com/listed to see exactly what we hold and where each fact came from. Claim it to correct it and add what you offer, or ask us to remove it: removal hides it from brands at once. If you'd like anyone to find you on Google and AI search, you can also make your page public: it's off unless you switch it on.
