Do I need GST?, free
A creator who earns from brand deals supplies a service, and services need GST registration once a year's turnover passes the threshold for your state. Type your state and what you've billed this financial year, Indian and foreign brands together, and see where you stand.
Everything you type stays in your browser: nothing is sent to Thommidhi or anyone else, and there's no sign-up.
How it works
Count everything you've billed for services this financial year (April to March), including payments from brands abroad.
The threshold is ₹20 lakh in most states and ₹10 lakh in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.
Below it you may still register by choice: some brands prefer a GST invoice, and it lets you claim GST on what you buy for work.
Questions
What is the GST limit for influencers in India? For services, registration is needed once aggregate turnover in a financial year passes ₹20 lakh, or ₹10 lakh in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. Small service suppliers under the limit don't need to register even for brands in other states.
Does YouTube AdSense income count? It counts towards your turnover. How it's taxed depends on how and from where it's paid, so ask a CA about that part. This checker adds up whatever you include.
